Rough day today. Wind was blowing and no fish were biting. I tried a couple of different power baits with no luck. Only did about 2.5 hours before the wind got the best of me. I chose the dock on the east end of the lake near the trail. I tried a spinner, I tried a bobber, and still no luck. I like the lake and will give it another shot again in the future. One guy on the other side of the lake said he caught one at about 9" but he tossed it back in.

I have tried that lake after a stock for three years and NEVER caught a trout. I think the bass think its an all you can eat buffet when they stock it.

This is one of lakes that I have had the same experience on. Going fishing after stocking and no trout. I think I have fished there 5 or 6 times by boat trolling goodies that get the trout in other lakes. I have only ever caught one trout in Cassidy.

From what I've seen - Bass and Crappie seem to be the majority of catches at this lake
