Nice grey morning, light rain. Past the town of Sprague which was almost under water. Viking Drive In has deep water on three sides.
The lake was very full, looking good. Unfortunately, the lake was muddy with viz about one foot. Talked to several anglers and the warden. Everyone was skunked. With more rain in the forecast and only 10 days left in the season, we'll just have to try our luck at the opener in December.

How high has the water risen in Fourth of July Lake itself? Have the mud flats at the north end disappeared underwater? Can you estimate the new height of the old high-water-mark, white water stain on the rocks surrounding the lake?
