Hit Upper Goose at Potholes; weather was absolutely perfect both days. As for fishing, it was dyn-o-mite! Lost track of the 12 to 14 inche trout HOOK-UPS. Perch was also good, but trout kept getting caught during perch jigging! For every 4 perch caught, 1 was a keeper. Great last of the season trip.
(Flat boat trailer tires didn't even get me down!)

I am going to try to make it out to upper Goose this weekend so this is great news! May I ask how deep you were fishing?

Bryce: It really didn't matter what depth. Perch fishermen were catching more trout that perch; I caught them letting my lure out, while I was reeling up to check my bait, and they were surfacing everywhere. Unfortunately, I lost my power cord to my fish finder, so had a hard time telling how deep. Seemed like I caught the bigger ones deeper though. (30-35 pulls with two 1/8 ounce split shot).
PS: They bit on anything.
