And yes AMX...I know this report is a week late. I was busy catching more fish! Ha ha

Had the best day of fishing I've ever had in Western Wa. We had a 50 fish day! The biggest was just over 3lbs, but we caught several just under 3lbs and a dozen over 2lbs. Probably got about 20 keepers altogether. One of my leaders caught like 20 fish before being bit off by a Musky i think.
We fished about 3 main lake spots. The water skiing and tubing was BRUTAL. People were completely rude and arrogant.
All of them were residents of the lake. Some would pull right out of their docks at full throttle and pull their tubes within 20 feet of us. Sad commentary on people :(
Anyhoo... we slayed em on drop shot using DS minnows, Tubes, and some of my "secret" baits, as well as some of my hand pours. Went back Tuesday and just slayed-em on my hand dipped tubes.
I bought a clicker so we could get an accurate count. It's funny, #50 took us like 30 minutes to catch...little sucker.
Ron and I agree, it was just the best fishing. Sure, we usually catch larger fish, but sometimes, it's not about catching bigguns, but about catching keepers. Continually hearing the line strip off your reel, and bow of your rod is what it's about.

Certainly nuttin wrong with a 50 fish day. Expecialy if there are so many over 2 pounds.

And at least you're submitting reports, I haven't been hardly, not enough big fish on my line. :-)

awesome report hoping to get out there tomorrow. I have found the residents very rude as well. I can be the only other boat on the lake and they will still water ski right by within a few feet even coming inside the 5 mph buoys.
