Did not get to the lake till about 10:30. Did not know this was the day they started drawing down the lake, it was about a foot down. Fished shallow around the weed lines and deep 20-25' as well. The fishing was tough and the bight was light. we caught about a dozen between the wife and I however nothing of size. Mostly on the dropshot. I think with the draw down and long stretch of hot weather I may not have been looking deep enough. As we were headed back to the county launch I was marking a lot of fish in the 30 plus foot range Stopped for a min. the wife dropped her line down and caught one of the nicer ones of the day.
