Steelhead are Sea-Run rainbow trout. I doubt that these fish have been to the ocean & back. Just curious.

5/1/2015 12:10:00 AMBecause they are from Puget sound area hatchery and supposed to be steelhead , it has no actual meaning.just a slang term from eastern , wa. They are trout , a bunch have spawned in the lake.people seem to be showing up expecting a good steely fight eheh

they were Steelhead smolt, so everyone over here started to call them Steelhead. Regardless, it helps the fishery.
