The bass are still biting on Blue Lake. I fished anywhere there were rocks, especially along Hwy 17. Caught many in the 12 inch range on a small lg. mouth bass pattern Rapala. Trolled across the lake and BAM!!! a 3 lb. small mouth, sorry no pictures. I have been told that the state is going to reclaim (kill the fish) Blue Lake in the near future, so if you want quality trout and bass fishing, you need to get there soon. In the past, the best trout fishing is at the end of September before the lake closes.

Where you trolling a top water rapala? I caught some female monsters pushing 6lbs in may and june on beds on blue. Every year they keep getting bigger. its great. Park lake has great bass fishing too.
