Fished Wells Dam area with my partner, looking for walleye. Our worst day here in 3 years...not even anything we could call a bite! Water temp 59. Current ok, but level very, very low...probably 4 feet down. Had to put the trailer down the gravel when taking the boat out. Lowest level I'd seen in a while. Weather had been stable and pretty cloudy, cool, not swinging back and forth. Took the boat out and trailered down to Chelan Falls area. Only caught one sucker there...no other bites. Tough day, but a good one to remind us what it's like to catch no fish. Our friend and his wife were on at Wells and caught 3 nice walleye. The steelheaders looked like they were struggling too.
