Arrived at about 8:30 am. Thought the lake would be a lot busier, because of the holiday, but there were only a couple on the lake at any one time. To my dismay I left all my flys with a lot of my gear at home. Only had one fly that was already on the rod, but it lasted. Fished for a couple hours on a float tube, catching a couple 6 inch rainbows, and one 15 inch cutthroat. I met up later with some friends with a canoe, and stole some new fly’s. Had quite a few bites, and ended up catching some more nice size cutthroat. The two we kept were 18 inches. We caught them all trolling along the north bank, with “big black uglys,” as we like to call them. Average day.
