I went fishing at Lundeen Park last night. I got all of my gear out, and set up. I fished from the dock.

At first I tried a worm, and an orange garlic marshmallow with glitter on it as the bait. I used a short leader. I casted out into the lake not far from the dock of a house, that has a Seaplane. I hung out for a while, and then decided to reel in my line to see if I had anything. No luck.

So then, I tried again. This time I used some, "Power Bait Trout Dip" goo that was "corn scented." I dipped the worm into the corn scented goop, and then tossed it back into the lake. It didn't take long when....BAM!!! FISH ON!!! I hooked into a very large / heavy fish. It was dark out, and I didn't get to see what it was, or what it looked like. I was fighting that fish for at least 20 minutes, or more! My arms felt like noodles. It was quite the epic battle fighting that fish. I jokingly shouted things like, " I've got you, fish! You are my fish stick dinner now! Is that all that you've got, fish?!"

Sadly, after a long battle....my line snapped! I lost this fish! Bummer! I am so disappointed. I almost had "the BIG ONE."

I plan on fishing at Lundeen Park again today, and maybe tonight. I want that fish! Gosh dang it! That's my fish.

Yeah, so apparently, the fish in Lake Stevens, like "Corn" as bait. I had read previous fishing reports of people using canned corn as bait. That's how I got the brilliant idea of using my corn scented Power Bait goop. Yes, so my advice to other Fisher People...use corn, and corn scented goops. It WORKS!!!

I guess the big fish was a common carp.

sounds like one of those triploids trout they planted years ago in the lake might of been over 15 lbs
