Trout fishing definitely slowing down. Got to the lake about 6:30, and fished hard until nearly 9:00. Used a variety of buggers, nymphs, and wet flies to catch (and release) 5-fish. A beautify evening, and the fact the Mariners were taking it to Anaheim didn't hurt either. Fished the South side of the lake from my float tube, and it was a beautiful evening to be on the water. However, don't look for this nice little lake to put out too many more fish as the water starts to warm. The highlight was a very nice 15" holdover that took a carey fished on my 6', 3-wt outfit just before heading in. Great fight, and he was gently released to fight another day.
