Tried South end yesterday for Burbot. Caught one sucker in about 75 ft of water. Saw one burbot caught about 10 inches. Ice was very thin near shore but quickly thickened to almost 9" a few feet out....

Fished the north end of the lake this morning on a few spots that looked good on the depth maps. Ice was 8.5" average and the lake is still making good ice and weeks to come look like good ice making...

Ice is 6" solid......warm weather didnt phase it much but its deadly slick. YakTraks are mandatory gear at this point that or bring your ice skates. Thats not even a joke really.....Conditions are opt...
