Talapus and Olallie Lakes, Alpine Lakes Wilderness

by Mike Carey, June 19, 2010
Day hikes in Washington's Alpine Wilderness, Talapus and Olallie are two lakes that can be reached in mid summer, with an upper elevation of 3,750 feet. Both lakes have trout. Popular destinations and you're sure to have a crowd on the weekends!

Thanks for the alpine lake stuff Mike. I love that kind of stuff. But, Doh! You didn't give any insight to the fishing. I KNOW you had to have thrown a few Rooster tails out there or something?

Very nice video. I would like to see more videos on the Alpine Lakes. There are many that are so beautiful. Nice job!

just a few half-hearted casts. I was focusing more on the hiking side of things this trip.
