Help identifying my Lamiglas rod

Post by The Quadfather » Fri Nov 30, 2007 12:03 am

I am looking to sell a few things from the fishing closet. The reason that I am posting in Product/Gear forum is just that I am trying to find out how to identify what rod I have.

This is a baitcasting rod which identifies itself as Guides Choice North X Northwest by Lamiglas.
NWG70ULC 7'0" Line wt. 2-8lb test, Lure wt. 1/8 - 1/2 oz.
Ultra light.

Does anyone recognize this rod? I can't tell if it is made (BY) Lamiglas (FOR) a company called Guides Choice, or what. I've been to Lamiglas' site, but the rod is two years old, and their site of course only lists brand new gear.
I Googled the heck out of every word combination I could think of.

So anyway, I'd like to sell it, but I've got to find it's worth first. I've never fished it even once, and I am pretty sure that I paid at least $75.00 for it.

Yep Lamiglas makes rods specificaly for (GI) Joes and calls them "North X Northwest Guides Choice." Joes still sells normal Lami's in their stores too...The Guides Choices are a little cheaper and I don't think they are made exactly like the Lami's are, but a good deal for a really quality rod.

Yes, that's it! I knew I got this at Joe's. I will just have to go back and look on the shelf for a price.
Stay tuned to the classifieds forum. LOL

Yep...You won't find them anywhere else...They are a good deal and usually go on sale more then most rods Joes stocks (I know about this stuff I worked there)
