Tackle storage for my wall

Post by soundkite » Sun Nov 03, 2013 9:45 am

Remodeling my home office and have a 11'x8' wall I'd like to convert to store my tackle for easy access. I'm imagining a wall of small clear compartments, like you might find at a hardware store. Any ideas if I can find/make something like this?

i use a large cabinet that i picked up cheap... it's 4' by3' and holds all my stuff, most of my stuff is in 3700 series boxes... also have some pegboard that i use with metal hooks... to hang my extra plastics from...

are you talking about something like this ... that you can hang on the wall???

I bought 5 large tackle boxes for each type of fishing. As I need gear I go to each box to retrieve gear. My problem is that I have so much gear some stuff just kicks around. Good Luck.

i got some shelving from costco. Works well and i can repurpose as it will last forever. I grabbed the heavy duty shelf that runs 160. If you want to throw a boat motor on it for the winter no problem.
