Just last week I bought some stuff to make some nifty ice lures for the pan fish and I have already figured out a few great spots for some crappie/bluegill/perch.

Most of the smaller ponds around the Medical lake area have skimmed over with ice. So I checked Silver this morning on the way to work, and no ice yet. Hopefully it wont be much longer with temps like this. :fish:

Just about time to open up a 2013-14 ice fishing thread! :)

Missed it last year due to work and the later freeze up... I only had a very small window available early January.

Yeah, similar circumstances. They look better this year. Maybe need to retitle this, or start a new one.
