Northwest Fishing Reports

Fished the Sky again today, water is dropping, fishing was decent. Got a dolly, a real nice springer, and a couple trout/smolts. Missed a few other short biters. Also caught a sunburn which I honestly don't mind! My buddy caught all the fish today, guess that's the breaks hahaha

Also broke in my brand new net, sweeet.

That's a nice fat Dolly! I'm gonna get out tomorrow in the bright and early, nice to see that fish are showing. I want to get a skykomish king this year yet.

Freedrifting all day. We are starting to get a few good holding areas dialed in. Wish we could find some more steel!

Today, 2 steelies, a springer, a dolly (the same one, likely), and a nice cutt! Fished with WALakes member BawkBawk and another friend. Today we all caught fish, which was a bonus!

In total we put 6 big fish in the brand new net this weekend, it is now fully broken in.

Sweet catch brotha! Somedays I wish I had a boat. But that means I'd need a new rig, a garage, and a loan. And gas money. Hahahaha,I'm a little bit jealous, but it'll pass. My day will come soon enough.

I don't doubt it for a second Nate, your turn is coming. I am new to this whole boat fishing in a river thing and I get really excited when things work out right because they go oh so wrong oh so often, lol.

You were right, Matt! My turn came today! 15 lbs. 2 oz. buck king today!

Nice fish Nate. I wished I took a picture of mines when it was under water in the net. It was a first and personal best for all species.

I know right? And I wasn't even planning on fishing today. We ate some for dinner tonight and man, it was fantastic.

i'm jealose im goint to the wynoochee this weekend and hopefully i will get a couple of steelhead.
