My friend saw this guy while fishing in September. At the time we wondered why someone would go snorkel the Duwamish.

I saw him down there a couple of times. That guy must have balls of steel to be swimming in there among the huge stellar sea lions.

Exactly what I was thinking! When I took scuba lessons 30 years ago the entire class revolted when they planned a dive in front of Salty's. We ended going for a dip off of Fort Casey instead. The Edmonds Park is as clos as I've every come to swimming in Elliot Bay and I'd like to keep it that way.
