How much does that weigh? Isn't it called a "crawdad" or something like that?

I own the larger BassTender 11-3, which has an elevated casting deck, live well (which I converted into storage) two battery wells, bilge pump, running lights, and is double hull constructed, with inwalled and fused wiring. It is rated for an outboard motor up to 15 hp. I've had it 14 years now and love it. Back then these boats were made by a company called Leasure World. I think they were bought out by Brunswic, and the company name changed. It weighs 250 lbs with nothing in it. Because I have a 9.9 four stroke Merc on it, not to mention 2 deep cycle marine batteries for my foot controled electric motor and other electronics, it all certainly adds to the weight. So I trailer mine. But they are a great boat, and very durable. For small lakes and undeveloped launching areas, you can't beat them. The only problem I noticed was the polyetholene plastic that these boats are made of absorb some stains, which will not come out. For that reason I eventually carpeted the floors. There are several look alike models made by other companies being sold, such as the Crawdad one submitter mentioned. You see them in large sporting goods stores, and being shown at outdoor shows and boat shows. I have personally seen several. But believe me, it didn't take much of an inspection to see that none of them were made with the same quality as the Bass Tenders boat. Congrats on your purchase. You bought the best in this type of boat.
