Puyallup Parking Alert

Puyallup River fishermen (and ladies), big heads up.....!!!!!!
beware of parking behind Mama Stortini's restaurant in Puyallup! During the run two years ago, the bottom lot was opened up for us all to park. This year, not so much. We went out Saturday to get a good peek at the river and watched as an employee (owner, manager..whatever) cased the lower lot and waited as the tow truck showed up. He continued to select multiple vehicles for the tow truck driver to haul off. At the time, there wasn't anything posted informing people not to park there. Not cool! There must have been around 15 vehicles towed. Apparently, the upper lot just isn't big enough for the huge waves of patrons the restaurant fully expects to come pouring in. Good luck out there!

They had a hand written sign there that was laying on the ground at the entrance of the main street. The psrking lot was practically empty mid-day today. Im sure people with tons of gear to haul or kids would pay to park at a secured lot. Its extra revenue that they could be making just like the lots around Safeco and Seahawk Stadium when theres a game.
