PSA Lk Wa presents "Dick Streater." He will be giving his FISHING HUMOR TALK.

Post by Firetiger » Tue Mar 09, 2010 10:30 am

Our next meeting is this upcoming Thursday, March 11th, at 7pm at the Community Center at Mercer View, 8236 SE 24th St. on Mercer Island. The featured speaker will be our own Fishing Hall of Fame Member, DICK STREATER. Dick will be giving his popular FISHING HUMOR TALK, complete with the fishing gadgets and inventions of the past 50 years.

Streater, a nationally recognized, published authority on antique lures and tackle, has found the funny side of trying to outwit all those very smart fishes. Hand cranked boat motors and spring loaded casting rods are just two of the many wonders to be demonstrated. "Ole and Sven" will also be telling a couple of fishing jokes.

Don't miss this unique presentation. Come and join us for an evening of fun and fishing stories! There will also be the latest reports from members on their most recent trips to Lakes Washington, Sammamish and other local fishing venues. Family, friends and the public are all invited.

Hi Firetiger:
What a treat Dick is! He had all of us in stitches when he gave his presentation last year at one of our Muskie Tournaments - What a great guy and such a love for fishing ... and those lures! OMG, they are so great; some really funny ones and some "Oh, what IS that" category", too. If you have not seen his show (or even if you have) GO! It is very entertaining and full of history, too.
Good Times.
Tiger Muskies are sterile.
You can't keep them under 50 inches:
Let them do their job: Eating N.P.Minnows
