Pigskin pick em - Week 3

Post by raffensg64 » Mon Sep 17, 2007 9:04 am

Congratulations to lskiles for picking a perfect 6 for 6 during Week 2, negating the need for a MNF tiebreaker. Here's the chosen week 3 games:

Bengals @ Seahawks
49ers @ Steelers
Jags @ Broncos
Cowboys @ Bears
Chargers @ Packers
Colts @ Texans

Bengals over Seahawks (Bengals sore about giving up 51 to the Browns, will rebound next week!)
Steelers over 49ers (NFC West teams would not survive in the AFC North)
Jags over Broncos (Jags defense brings it in Denver)
Bears over Cowboys (Bears defense saves the offense this week)
Chargers over Packers (Chargers get it together after thumping by Pats - that was ugly!)
Colts over Texans (Texans are making some noise but Colts own the AFC South)

MNF: Titans 24, Saints 34, Total 58

Wow, the pressure is on now. Lets see if I can pick any this week.

Bengals over the Seahawks
Go! Steelers...anyone over the Forty-whiners
Jaguars to beat the Broncos...but maybe they will employ some of the wussie tactics on the Jags like they did when the Raiders beat them yesterday, oh, I called time out. Mike Shanahan should be coaching girls soccer.
The Cowboys will beat them Bears like a bongo drum
The Packers over San Diego
The Colts will spank the Texans

Monday Night Football...Saints 28 Titans 17 total 45

Ahh....yes, the "Ice the kicker" tactic...very common throughout the NFL. Not to worry about the girls soccer...Wade Phillips has that covered already. :jocolor:

I did not reply sooner because I was dumb-struck...are you talking about the coach of the Mighty Dallas Cowboys?
The team that has played in more post-season games than any other in NFL history.
The team that has won FIVE Superbowls...no team has won more!
The team that is now first in the NFL for points per game (41.0) after only TWO GAMES!!

Maybe after they lose a game or two...LOL

We'll see what happens after their 'bye week'...when they usually fall apart. :-$ :eye:

Yeah, we will see, but by then they will be 7-0! I have been a fan of the Cowboys for a long time so I know how quickly they can screw-up a season. I have high hopes this season for ring number SIX...we all have our serious faces on!!

100%
I got this one.
I'd be rolling in the dough if I made these picks in Vegas.
I also won my office pool for $$
Good week for me. I just got to keep it going through the rest of the season.
