That is a pretty good way of presenting the method. I have been playing around with the Perfection Knot. This is an excellent way of putting a loop at the end of a leader.
Joe, since we are tying on 6' of straight mono with a loop at the end for a loop to loop connection with the steel leader, this knot works well. It is very neat and straight.
