In a month of so (give or take) the Snohomish River will be full of Humpies. Try the Green River or the Puyallup River in King county.
By the way, the county north of King county is Snohomish County.

Give the Sammamish a try. There's the Sammamish River Trail that runs along the entire length of the river, and there's always plenty of places to try. Make sure you read and follow the Selective Gear rules.
RE:looking for Rivers and streams
does selective gear mean only single point non barbed hooks and thats all?
RE:looking for Rivers and streams
selective is single point barbles, no bait, but if you dont fly fish you can use a spoon, my favorite for small to large trout is a bronz little cleo.
