Perch Spinners for Walleyes

Post by fishcreekspinners » Wed Jun 08, 2011 1:27 pm

Anybody think these rigs would work for walleyes?

Brass blade, tri-color in Perch color faceted glass.
3 hook rigs; standard, minnow, and crawler

Any and all opinions welcomed.

I think those would absolutely work for walleye. The top one looks almost exactly like what I would use for fishing Great Lakes walleye. It looks like the blade may be a bit smaller than I have made in the past, but it should still work well.

They look promising, the only real change I may consider is using hooks with a wider gap...perhaps Sickle or Octopus styles. The colorations are well matched.:)

The worm rigs were strung for me by a guy in southern Ontario. Probably why they reminded you of glakes
guess they use the Aberdeen's up there.
