Hey guys -
Yellow Perch are pretty hot right now at Silver. I'm up here doing some creel and there are knocking them dead over in front of the RV place - I call it the open hole. It's right on the highway. Nice sizes too.
Just be careful along the highway the drivers don't pay much attention to people walking across the road there!

Certainly one of my favorites on my list of lakes. I appreciate the information. If I can't hookup with any panfish and bass,well theres always carp....thats right,I said it (haha)

The carp are being tricksy. Not sure where they went to but only got one grass carp when I was electroshocking last week. Though I wasn't specifically targeting them.
Saw about 50 more yellow perch caught after I posted that yesterday! The open hole is really hot right now and they are smallish but chunky fish!! Need to get some to cut them open and see what they are nomming on!
