Perch Regs?

Post by iPodrodder » Wed Jul 04, 2007 11:31 am

I was wondering if anyone knew the statewide regulations for perch off the top of their head. I wanted to check here because I am too lazy to find it and pore through it for rules about perch.

My main questions are:

Legal size?

Bag limit?

Does fishing with bait affect your bag limit if fish are released?

Must be taken by angling methods only. No minimum size, no limit. So, Ipodrodder, you are free to take as many as you want.

This is true as long as there are no lake-specific restrictions where you plan to perch fish. I never go by the statewide rules unless the waters I plan to fish are not listed in the pamphlet.

Good point! Check the particular body of water restrictions first. If it says nothing about perch, then it is game on, in accordance to the statewide general regs.
