Hello to all!,

I am taking the family up to Riffe Lake for a three day adventure this weekend and need some insight on how to catch some trout or the Landlocked Coho this lake has. I have a 21' Trophy with downriggers but I have only fished this lake once before with no results but saw a ton of fish on the screen. I really would like to get my son & wife into some fish, thanks in advance. 6/14 Someone has got to have some information on how and where to fish this lake?

I was there just last weekend. I only fished for a couple of hours and didn't get any bites. Not to say the fish weren't there because I marked a lot of fish between 70' and 100' over by the dam. Most of the boats I saw fishing were using pop gear in front of their lure. Try using a small Hot Spot and small pink hoochie off downriggers (if you have them).

ive heard there is a bonus catch for the kokanee here...is that true. something like 5 kokanee limit + 16 bonus so you can walk out of there with 21 kokanees. can anyone verify that?

Nothing about that in the regs.

Volk the bonus limit you are talking about does exist. But its not the 16+5 kokes. Its 16 kokanee + 5 trout. So you can catch a total of 21 fish. But I dont know which lakes the bonus limit are on. I think Kechluess, but dont quote me
