I just got back into fishing after a 15 year hiatus and I can't believe how much launch/parking fees have gone up. I plan on hitting Sawyer here this week. It use to be free....how much now? Also, has anybody had a problem with launching a boat with a gas motor on a no motors lake even though you're going to use electrics only? Thanks

$5
if you are going to fish the lakes lots of times in a year, buy a year pass for $60, get it at the Black Diamond City Hall. Have your vehicle registration, car/truck, or trailer, whichever you want the pass to cover, and your driver's license.
Don't be having a gas motor on a boat in a no gas motors lake, when they catch you, the fine will be lots.

For those old guys that launch at Everett, you can get a free pass for the Everett launch. I think you have to be 62??, not sure. I've had mine for 5-6 years.

if it says electric motors only, then you cannot have a gas motor mounted on the boat. Even if you tilt up the motor, remove the fuel tank and cover it in garbage bags - you still get a nice big ticket.

As to the no gas motor rule, Sawyer is
not listed as an "Internal combustion motor prohibited" lake in the special rules section of the 2015 WDFW pamphlet. This means the restriction is per county or municipality and having a motor attached
may be permitted - check with the above agencies for what may, or may not, be allowed.
If a body of water is listed in the WDFW pamphlet as "Internal combustion motors prohibited" then the following apply:
Internal Combustion Motors Prohibited: Means fishing from a floating device equipped with an internal combustion motor is not allowed.
Equipped with a motor: A motor is attached to the floating device, regardless of whether the motor is in the water.
