I wanted to put 4 AWG, but settled for 6 AWG. The run, round trip is about 38ft. It's only a 55lb thrust up front. Buying local, would have been very expensive. Easily 2-3x the cost. And add a circuit breaker.
Heard good things about Genuine Dealz, so I went with them. Ordered the bonded 6/2 cables and the approriate lugs for them, with heatshrink.
I bought a crimper to do the heavier gauge, and it appears to work pretty good. Not the greatest crimps, but nice and strong. With the adhesive heatshrink, I dont see it going anywhere.
I didn't take pics of the cable itself, but it's wrapped with this plastic white liner. Here is the little short cable I made from the + battery to circuit breaker. Looks pretty good.

I also bought some ring terminals. I bought the 14-16AWG with 3/8" opening. The one on the top pic is the Ancor brand from West Marine. I dont remember what size the opening is. The bottom is the GDZ one. Intial inspection is, the width of the ring is thinner. I personally would have liked it to be a little wider. But the overall diameter of both ring terminals are the same.

But everything seems to be pretty good so far. Haven't taken it out on the water yet, but I get power to all the components.
