Rod building mentor in kitsap area

Want to build a rod or two and figured i would see if there were any builders in the area, that would show a newbie the ropes. I would buy everything myself and buy us both lunch for your trouble. This looks like a situation where i could meet a fellow angler during the off season and have a great time, while not wasting my money and trashing a lot of nice components.

I have been building rods for about 15 years but am no expert. What I did to learn was trial and error for the first few. Went on the internet and watched some videos which made my life a whole lot easier. I am not trying to deter you from learning from someone, just offering options. It would have been nice to get hands on with someone that knew what they were doing so many moons ago. Good luck, it is great catching fish on a rod you built.
