Northwest Fishing Reports

Was planning to clean my drag tonight but ran into a problem. After removing the handle and spring, the star drag nut won't unscrew off. It unscrews and then gets real tight to where it won't unscrew anymore. Lol yes I'm a bit afraid of forcing it to unwind. Any tips to help me out? It's a curado by the way

Sounds like your just loosening the drag all the way. Here's some pics
