Top-Snapper Canvas Snap Tool - It really works!

Being one of the worlds great pessimists enables me to take great joy in a product when it actually does what it claims to do. Now this tool may have been around for a while but I just used one for the first time last weekend and was totally impressed. If you have a boat with canvas top and standard snaps then you'll want to look into acquiring one of these puppies! You really can snap the top and side curtains into place from the inside of your boat! It also makes stretching that vinyl into place much easier, especially if you forget to warm it up in the car on the way to the launch. Using the tool for removal I can see that it would lessen the chances of a tear or popped snap. It's made of stainless steel and rubberized plastic, but beware as it does not float. I bought mine up at West Marine for just under $20.00 while I picking up some replacement snaps for the ones that I popped last time out. And yes, I did neglect lubing up my snaps which is probably why I popped some of them. They have all since been treated with Liquid Wrench Silicon Spray, works great on the zippers too!
