Northwest Fishing Reports

Well the wife and kids went to visit great grandma/pa so left me to go do some fishing:cheers: I went to the Laramie river a couple miles from my home and was drifting a black woolly bugger behind a fly bobber with no luck so I took out my 7' ultra lite and small slip sinker and a 16" leader baited with a night crawler and egg. After no luck for a while I made it to the mother hole:compress: On my first cast I caught a pig rainbow 22-23" took a picture or 2 and put HER on her way. I ended up catching 10 fish in 4 hours most of them were browns but had 2 rainbows I also caught a couple fish on a mini repala. I have to get the pictures developed but when I do I will show you some awesome pictures:farao: The big rainbow was my biggest ever river caught rainbow and also the oldest trout I think I have ever seen she was showing her age but she put up a 10 minute fight on 4 lb leader and 6 lb main line.(got to love catching fish in rivers) I got the pictures today here are a few pics. they didn't come out very good but oh well. My net is just under 25" long and the opening is 19" for ref.

Here are a couple pictures of the area I was fishing I only caught fish on a 100 yard stretch. Dang good stretch to fish though:cheers: The first picture is the main hole I fished:-$ LOL The second is a hole up river a little ways looking back toward the lower hole and the third is the tail out of the hole in the first picture:cheers:
