Site Update - New Report Form

Post by Mike Carey » Wed Sep 26, 2012 5:41 am

So Aaron posted a site update last evening which was designed to correct several issues that have been noted over the summer:

WashingtonLakes.com was updated tonight (925/2012). We fixed a few problem areas of the site that were not working correctly (login problems, lake searching, photo uploads, report alerts).

Also - be sure to check out the new update to the fishing report form. It's been streamlined to be more logical AND you can start to fill it out, go do something else, and when you come back to the site it will be there for you to finish up. So for example you can type up the report and click "next" and navigate away from the page. When you come back your information will still be there, ready to finish. Great if you get interupted and have to come back to it later. Just remember to click "next" on the first form page of the report. Very cool.

This morning things seem to be working great and maybe it's just my internet today but the site seems faster. As Aaron noted, please contact us if you find any problems or concerns.

Thanks and thanks Aaron!

site sure does seem much more stable jumping from the forum to the site itself. And the ability to save the form and come back to it - already used it a couple times while downloading pics from one computer to another. Very nice to come back and have everything still there. Nice!
