Western Wa. Walleye Club ... We Met

Post by wmaxwell48 » Fri Feb 12, 2016 10:26 am

Last night was a good meeting.

Limit Out Performance Marine was there and introduced themselves to the club. you can contact them through www.http://limitoutmarine.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. If you use their services let us know how you faired. On to other matters....

The members agreed to have an end of year raffle to finance the Scholarship(s) to the Washington Conservation Camp, under write the Rest Stop Event, and Donate to the Eagles Club for allowing us meeting space. The prize is in the works but will be a first class Walleye Rod and Reel value to be around $300. Depending on what Gary K and co-chair Jason determine there may be and probably will be additional prizes. The plan is to have books of 10 tickets and sell all tickets for $1.00. All fishers watching are invited to help a kid of high school age go to one of the premiere conservation camps in the USA. We might send more than one depending on the success of the effort. Contact Gary for more information.

Pictures....yes Pictures. WE want and need pictures of your adventures on the water. They will be posted. You can post them on Facebook, or on Northwest Walleye in our club page or in the fishing reports page witch would be really cool.
Gary also is keeping a hard copy to take to shows and events where new members might be found.

February 23-26 President Will will be at Potholes Res. (If the passes are passable) and word from our lifers over there is good fishing around Lynd Coulee. Come join the fun.

March 20 we will have our annual Oyster Fest at the Eagles Club. This is a potluck. Chris and Wendy are the chair persons. If you want more info contact them.

March 26 Saturday after 2PM at Hiighline Tutoring in Burien, Chris will hold a lure making event for all members. This is always good and some good gear always comes away from it.
