Post by Nick_Barr » Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:43 am

2009 THS Sportsman's Night

The Timberline High School Fishing Club is proud to present the 2009 THS Sportsman's Night on March 21st from 2-8PM. The THS Sportsman's Night is sure to be fun for the whole entire family. This years event will include a vast array of activities. There is going to be:
-WDFW Trout Fishing Pond (Sponsored by Nisqually Trout Farm)
-Silent Auction (Many items from Fishing, to Auto, to Cookware, something for everyone!)
-Spaghetti Feed ($5 Large Plate of Spaghetti)
-Seminars from prominent speakers (Salmon/Steelhead, Bass, Trout, Rod Building)
-Casting Competition
-Many interesting displays

The event is being held in the new Timberline High School Commons, at 6120 Mullen Rd. Lacey, WA 98503

All the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Timberline High School Fishing Club, and be used for various activities. Some activities we do are rod building, conservation acts, fishing seminars, networking anglers, sponsoring members for fishing camps, fishing trips, and even preparing to create our own fishing pond on campus! This is going to be an afternoon full of fun for the whole family. I hope to see you all there supporting the anglers and conservationists of the future!!

TO POSSIBLE DONORS:-The THS Fishing Club is looking for silent auction items, if you could donate anything at all, it would be greatly appreciated, we of course would in return provide advertising at the event. Please call (360) 485-9462 or email me back (NickTBarr@hotmail.com).

THANK YOU,
Nick Barr

Nick,

Great job. I was impressed by the size and number of folks that came. I enjoyed the Hotdog. And I loved seeing all the little kids at the Trout Pond:cheers: (Teaching C&R) . Got a couple of pictures and talked with some of the old guys:bigsmurf: . If you guys are interested in Walleye, let me know. I'll setup an orientation and in July/August I can help with a trip to Camas on the Columbia. I am the Webmaster for Washington Walleye and Freshwater Fishing Club.
