We are scheduling the next meeting for the Puget Sound Float Tube Bass Club. The date right now is scheduled for the 28th of April. Location and time will be posted soon. Let me know if you would be able to attend so I can begin a list of attendees. I am hoping to get a location in Federal Way to be a little more centrally located. We will be discussing the Summer County Fish-In Tour and the By-Laws that we have put together. Thanks!

Hey i just wanted to say that im proud of all you guys !! There has been threads started about doing a floatTube Club and now you guys are off and running .. ! stay at it and make it happen , at somepoint i will be more than happy to attend one of these events ..

Wow Federal Way is central? Sorry I cant make that one either lol. Possible Seattle next time? I'm up in everett, and the Dodge gets 14 MPG lol.

Well it isnt central but is more central than Spanaway ... laughs. We are just starting out and have not sound the location that is going to work for everyone as of yet. We are still trying though.

Tentative location right now is Black Bear restaurant in Federal Way. Will confirm this location in the next couple of days. Also the date for the April Fish-In will be posted soon as we hit King County for our first stop of the County Tour. Thanks everyone and check back soon!

So is the club for float tubes mainly?

Is there any little bio on the club or is this just the begins of something new possibly?

The club is pointed towards float tubes and pontoons with propulsion by paddles and/or fins. No trolling motors. Here is the link to our first thread on the club ...

im bummed about the whole trolling motor thing, i like to expend my energy fishing not getting to the fish .
but i understand the whole keepin it real thing.

I still look at tubing as physical therapy. It's great exercise, and when was the last time you got great exercise while sitting down AND bass fishing at the same time??
