I couldn'tve said it better myself. But obeying rule #1 is hard sometimes...

This summer FM we can be able to fish out of two boats when you get your new boat and we can cover more ground out there at Pine and Margaret and bounce ideas off each other and fish smart...fishin buddies is a great thing and it really does allow an angler to become honed in on the fish when time is very precious out on the water.

I snagged the bottom and got snagged. I snagged. Haha. Don't worry about picking any up right now, we'll have ample time to pick up lures later on...worms are the way to go I think. If you have a boat, fishing two boats is stealthy and it would be good when we went to fish out there at Margaret on opening day.

You'll have to come with me out to Lk. Alice when they stock in it early April, like April 10th. It should be a blast. You should also consider a lake that gets less pressure like Langlois, Cottage, or Margaret on Opening Day because it might be less crowded -- regarless, the fishing should be spectacular.

On your Fish Hunter? It might sink the thing...or are you getting a new boat? Did you get that free boat? How did that work out for you? I meant to follow up if you got Eddie L's boat or not or that boat listed on Craigslist.

Sweet let us know what boat you get and how the downrigger works on that boat. I'd love to head out in your boat and fish pine with that downrigger and some weight to troll our rapalas on the bottom to slay them browns (how ever many are left in there), and trolling your new boat and eating krispy kremes - doesn't get any better than that on a hot summer day -- get them hold overs that are laying right on the bottom right now out there on Pine...keep us posted on your plans and what you expect to get/ and set up your main boat with...good luck for sure!

This fishing buddy deal is a great idea. Ive personally met some new ones on this site. I havnt ran into a bad apple yet, in my boat or when Ive been invited in someone else's. Im always open to putting my 12 footer out over here on the westside of the mountains, if anyone is interested. There is a Oregon website that uses this kind of thread for open boat seats, and its always hooking people up with each other. Hope to meet a bunch of you'all this summer!
