How about making it automatic that all links within a post/thread opens in a new window/browser? Intead of in the same window/browser that WLakes is in.

Try changing the preferences in your browser settings. I use Firefox and they have the following options you can choose from:

New pages should be opened in: This option preference controls whether links from other applications or from web pages which request to open them in new windows are opened in a new window or a new tab in the most recent window.

hmmm, this one is an Aaron question and to be perfect honest he is busy with other things which will prevent him from working on forum related issues for awhile. Sorry I can't give you a time line on this one.

How about making it possible to put a smilie anywhere in a reply after it is all typed up. Or I want to edit it and put in a smilie I forgot or 'just thought of'. Now it only goes at the end, unless you put in the smilie as you go along. Sometimes I want to go back and put in a smilie somewhere in the middle after the paragraph is all typed in.

You can put a smiley anywhere you want at any time.

Just place your cursor (l)in the sentence and then click on a o:) smiley. If you want to edit a posted comment, click edit above and do the same as before. Where ever you place your cursor, you can put a :thumright smiley.

As you can see, I added some smileys to your comment:cheers:
