I am having a difficult time with the topo maps on this site. They are very hard to read and are somewhat blurred. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas for me to get a usable lake map.
I love this website. Topos appear to be the only flaw.

Are you putting your cursor on the map and waiting a couple seconds. (once you have clicked on the lake topo you wish to see) A small enlarge icon should appear in the bottom right hand corner of the picture. Click that and it should enlarge the topo map large enough to be clear. Try that.

you can disable the image resizing in IE's advanced settings....though sometimes its a nice feature...like when a relative who doesnt know PC from politics sends you that 3124 x 2178 pixel picture of their kids and all you can see is a really large eyeball....the image resize thing comes in handy then....in IE 7.0 you move your cursor over the image and it turns the cursor into a magnifying glass and if it has a plus in it, then it can be enlarged, if it has a minus then it means it can be shrinked...if nothing then that is all you get.....
I think some of those topomaps needs to be updated....granted who but the gov has time or equipment to do that...someof those are from the 1940's lol......
