I've got depth lines for most lakes in Washington in my garmin GPS unit, and so far they have all matched up with the maps.. underwater structures don't really change much. You might think they are old, but a lot of them have been updated in the 70s, 80s and 90s... and didn't change. If you're searching for different maps, you won't find them for free, if at all. I've spend countless hours dredging the internet for them and this is all we've got unless you want to purchase them. Even then, they just look nicer, but the contours are the same. If you have a fishfinder on your boat, take a map with you next time and see for yourself.

I'm sure I'm driving this topic off a cliff but some of the maps show depths. Does anyone know the true depth of Lake Cresent in Clallam County. I've fished here my whole life but nobody can ever tell me. I hear over 600ft,over 1,000ft. and one saying unknown depths.
Anyway, point being I have no idea.

Have you used a fish finder on it? Most moderately priced units zero out at 600 ft. To read depths deeper than that, I think that you have to get into the high end models. The only thing I can suggest other than that is call the game department.
