Northwest Fishing Reports

We should have a forum section where if you need a buddy to go fishing with out on your boat or if you are looking to go out on a boat you can post requests there. Thay can both pitch in for gas money.

I blieve this is something Aaron may incorporate in the next update.

Good, I've thought about this many times as well, just have't gotten around to making offers since our boat was a joint purchase/decision. I feel guilty when I take my son out and don't even ask if my wife wants to go along, but she understands. We have a nice boat & tow rig, and my wife is my primary fishing partner (she will always get first "dibs"), but there are times when I'd like to bring others along or instead. With fuel costs the way they are, it would be nice to have someone to share them while enjoying time out fishing. I'll be watching for the next update.

Just so there is no misunderstaning out Update timeline, the next update could be as early as early as Oct-Dec or as late as next years opening weekend. The next "update" will be a major update similar to the way this new site was.

I like this idea!! I spend alot of time on Washington during the Spring time on weekdays by myself, would be great to fish with somebody else. Once summer time comes and my son is out of school, its all he and I though.

I have similar issues. My wife works 12s or 16s every other weekend for both days (Sat Sun) so I just d(r)ink around the house or online. It's difficult for me to launch the boat by myself (I'm just not that patient, especially on a busy lake). Would love to find someone locally to hit the lake with. It's amazing how many people say they love to fish -- until you invite them out at 7am on a Sunday

Those guys/girls are usually the fairweather fishermen...Not the ones you wanna take out anyways...they are the ones that make you tie knots and put on their worms and expect you to catch fish for them or put them into the fish....

Knot in my boat. They bring refreshments and help with the cleanup. I have the boat and all the gear. o:) And they better like cigar smoke too.

For only three payments of $19.95 it will give you the stomach of a 20 year old. lol
In the real world its a plastic piece of junk that only makes your wallet lighter not your stomach.

Cool I came to this forum section to make the same suggestion. Hardly any of my friends like to fish...they are all mostly pleasure boaters...bah! So yeah a fishing buddy section would be nice, all it really needs to be is just another forum segment like the "off topic" area.

I actually talked the wife into going fishing with me in my (dad's) aluminum row boat...mostly so she can help me corral my 2 year old in the boat. I even talked her into letting me buy her a fishing pole so she can fish instead of just sit there in the boat....maybe she will like fishing more if I can get her out to catch some big fish

I've fished with 4 people from this site and everyone of them has been level-headed, appropriate, considerate, respectful and fun. I've heard some horror stories, though, but you gotta do your research a little ahead of time :compress: I'm just impressed with the quality of some members and their great tenacity for the sport of fishing...just amazing.

Thats cool. But would if you meet some people on here that are "FREAKS" and you decide to throw them overboard. Will I lose points? Will WL.com be mad at me or applaud me for being a stand up guy.[-x

Speaking of throwing your fishing buddy overboard. Went to St. Clair the other day and my buddy caught the first fish in my brand new bass boat shouldn't he lost points for that?
