Johnson Splinter (Kastmaster copy cat?)

Post by Chromer » Thu Mar 20, 2014 7:56 pm

I just picked up a johnson splinter because i was in need of a kastmaster for trout, but the splinter was half the price of the kastmaster, so i decided to get it. anyone tried this for trout?

havent used the splinters yet but ive used the BPS and cabelas knock off versions, i like the bps versions and the originals, the cabelas version was very inconsistent, like the holes were off center for a few of mine and they were quite dull in appearance, and the split rings and hooks were bad, but the bps ones were nice, not as shiny as original kastmasters but still great, i always change to si-wash hooks anyways,
