Eagle 320c vs Eagle 350c

Post by Kfedka » Mon Oct 25, 2010 8:33 am

Eagle 350c replaced the Eagle 320c. 350c can be purchased for $200 online with free shipping no tax, the 320c can be purchased on ebay for $120 after shipping.

I'm looking to make my first purchase for a fishfinder. Can anyone justify getting the 350c over the 320c with it being a difference for $80. Are there any special or additional feature that the 350c has?

The 2 models look to have identical specs, with the only difference I could find being bezel color. As the 320 was discontinued a couple of years ago, the warranty for it will have expired. So, as I see it, for an additional $80 you get a sexy black bezel instead of a grey one and a 1 year warranty.

If I were you, I would be looking at the 300 series in the Humminbird.

I have owned Eagle fish finders in the past and they don't seem to hold up very well in the last decade. Some reviews I have read confirm this.

I have the 585c and really like it.

I did not enjoy my experience with the Eagle Cuda either; however, many I have talked to like them.

Wouldn't the warranty start from the date of purchase, not the date of production.

I'm in the process of finding out if the warranty is still active of the 320C.

Depends upon the manufacturer. I just don't see them honoring a one year warranty on equipment that is a couple of years out of production. It doesn't hurt to ask though.

I contacted the parent company of Eagle and they said that the item will have a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. The 320c was produced from 2005 to 2008 and currently discontinued. Went ahead and purchased the 320c, will see how it turns out..
