New Ultralight Packraft

Post by LitePacker » Mon Mar 15, 2010 8:22 am

Hi,

We have developed an ultralight packraft that is both durable and affordable, and are happy to say that we are only a few weeks away from availability. The FlytePacker weighs only 2 lbs 3 ounces and has a weight capacity of 310 lbs. It is radio frequency welded for superior seam strength and durability. More details, specs, and pricing can be found on our website at http://www.flyweightdesigns.com

That's pretty neat. What material is it made from?

From the manafacturer:
"Chris,

Thank you for your interest in our product. Our boats are built with a 200D nylon fabric. All of our seams are radio frequency welded for strength and durability. Please let me know if you have any additional questions."

Hi Lee,

The Quadfather is absolutely correct, it is 200 Denier nylon fabric, manufactured by a U.S. company who specializes in marine materials.
