Tri-Cities Sturgeon Fishing This Weekend (6-25-2011)

Good Afternoon. Newish to the forum, but hoping to become a member in good standing here shortly.
I am getting ready to go to the Tri Cities this weekend to get my wife out of the house. We just had a baby (our first) in March and she is feeling a little cabin fever. Now that she is done nursing, she's thinking some winery time may be in order.
While we're down there, she wants to spend some time in the boat. I was thinking Salmon, but the numbers on the Columbia are still pretty small and the Snake is closed...
SO...
I want to drop a line for sturgeon. The problem is that I've never fished this part of the river for them. I was wondering if any of you good folks could give me some idea of where to try. I'll be near the mouth of the Yakima - I've seen guys fish for them there before. I figured I could head upstream from there into the flowing water to see if I could find any good hidey holes and fish upstream of them if that doesn't work.
Also, what do they like in these parts? Rollmop? Squid? Salmon belly? Herring?
