Skagit river pinks

Post by bgrubbs » Fri Jul 17, 2015 7:17 am

When do the pinks show up in the skagit in the Burlington area. I just moved here from alaska and I'm anxious to catch some fish in kid freindly areas.

I work at Blade Chevy, and go over to the park next to us all the time. About another three weeks and it will be starting in force I think.

But on another note. Yesterday there were 40 plunkers at the shore fishing. Today. ONE. That is quite strange I think???

The one plunking today must have missed that it closed yesterday!

Hey you can still get out there and fish, you just have to change a few things in your gear choice to make it legal. There will be good numbers of dumpies in by August 1st when it opens back up for salmon.
Whats the difference between Davy Crockett and Jack Daniels? Jack Daniels is still killing indians.

There are fish in there now and will be PLENTY by august 1st.

Already seeing jumpers all over inside puget sound. The straits are loaded.

A friend of mine working with the Upper Skagit tribe already saw 2 pinks in a test net last week in the river above Wooley.
