I will be taking my GF and her family to fish lake next Saturday and I am wondering if the fish have that same slime they had in the beginning of august. I figure we will just drop worms and power bait and float across the middle of the lake I am sure we can gets some perch and trout.
will I be lucky enough for another brown and one of the 4lbs+ trip I got in august... I will try lol

OOOO yum Fish slime.. My favorite sandwich spread. Did you ask the WDFW about the slime. It could be a fish protection biological thing if the water gets too warm. Much the same as us sweating. Just a non proven theory of mine.
