The hot spot is the lake. Unless you have a boat or tube your hot spot will be the WDFW access area, the rest of the lake is private. Power bait in your favorite color, maybe a worm or two, if you have a boat a wedding ring, and more power bait. I'm not sure what your friend is using to catch 30+ fish a day but unless it's a dry lure (selective gear) and they're hooking them in the lip, they are breaking the rules by about 6 fold. Don't be that guy! From the regular Trout regs:

In lakes, ponds, and reservoirs: No min. size. Daily limit 5. When fishing with bait, all TROUT
(except STEELHEAD) equal to or greater than the minimum size are counted as part of the daily limit
whether kept or released

In the general bait rules:

Where use of bait is prohibited, or where
lures or flies are used voluntarily, game
fish may be caught and released until
the daily limit is retained. If any fish has
swallowed the hook or is hooked in the
gill, eye, or tongue, it should be kept
if
legal to do so

PS the daily limit is 5 with only 2 over 15"

C&R all day long as long as you follow the rules. That means no bait, no sent, just raw hardware and don't forget the barbs if plan to release, it's just nice. I've seen your interpretation of C&R and selective gear fishing on your video, remember? So please be a responsible sportsman and follow the regs.

That was last year and ive become way more mature and careful! I will do my best to let the fish go with the least amount of harm!
